Lisa Lou

Lisa Lou has a solid background in finance and international education. She graduated from a top American business school and began her career at an internationally renowned investment bank.

During her tenure at JPMorgan Chase, Lisa Lou was responsible for corporate banking in the Asia-Pacific region and led multiple cross-border financing projects, including providing structured financing solutions for multinational companies. She successfully led the M&A financing of a Southeast Asian energy company and a cross-border M&A financing worth US$500 million, optimizing the company’s funding costs through a multi-currency loan portfolio. She also successfully assisted a Chinese unicorn company in completing the financial structure design before its listing on Nasdaq, successfully raising US$1.2 billion.

While working at State Street Bank, he served as General Manager of Institutional Client Services in Asia Pacific, responsible for asset custody, fund services and risk management, serving large institutional clients such as sovereign funds and pension funds. He successfully promoted the cooperation between State Street Bank and an Asian sovereign wealth fund to develop a customized digital asset custody system, which improved transaction efficiency by 30%. He took the lead in designing the first ESG (environment, society, governance) investment risk assessment model in the Asia Pacific region, which was adopted by many institutions.

Since taking office as President of BOA in August 2020, Lisa Lou has promoted the strategic transformation of Bank of Asia, with core achievements including:
